ARTSRWC: Artist Workshop is Tonight

Hey Fine Artists and Crafters: Ever wish you knew more about the Business side of Art? How to sell, and market your work? Here is an opportunity you don't want to miss!

THE FIRST  ARTSRWC ARTIST WORKSHOP IS TONIGHT!

ARTS RWC is partnering with Catherine Fraser of the Center for Entrepreneurial Opportunities to present a free workshop for artists:

"Crafts to Cash--you can do it!  
How to get started in the Business of Art."

  • Monday, July 15th
  • 5 to 6 PM 
  • Dragon Theater 
  • 2120 Broadway St, Redwood City, CA 94063
  • (near corner of Broadway and Jefferson)  
In this workshop, Catherine will offer an overview for artists on how to start a business of your art, including organization, business plans, setting up marketing avenues, etc.  This will be followed by a Q&A session.

Catherine Fraser has an impressive background in marketing and advertising and has been teaching @Canada College since she sold her advertising firm.  She is the CEO of CEO, the Center for Entrepreneurial Opportunities @Canada College in RWC.  http://canadacollege.edu/ceo/

PARKING: in the Marshall garage — one block south of Jefferson on Broadway. Enter next to the Downtown Restaurant - turn Left off Broadway, or turn Right to park in the lot behind City Hall.  The Marshall Street Garage is free for 90 minutes.  The lot behind City Hall and street parking is metered until 6 PM daily.  Pay at any kiosk.
