Rich and Famous by John Guare, directed by Executive Artistic Director Meredith Hagedorn (KUDOS, Meredith!!) opens this FRIDAY (pssst: Preview on Thursday)at Dragon Theatre in Downtown Redwood City.

Rich and Famous is the fourth offering by Dragon Theatre and each one has been outstanding and a completely different experience.  A surreal comedy with music, Rich and Famous is part vaudeville, part absurd, and an entirely funny romp through the perils of being a successful artist, by playwright John Guare, the genius who also wrote The House of Blue Leaves and Six Degrees of Separation.
Which is why you should support the DRAGON in our midst and GO! Here is what u need to know...

OK Redwood City -- Parking Stuff...as the revitalization of the downtown continues, we are about to take a BIG leap forward with the start of Crossing 900.  This will involve some growing pains for a while and we ask that you have patience, plan ahead and continue to support the businesses in our downtown.  They will be most grateful and we will make it thru this together.

There are options and the City and the Downtown Business Group are working together to mitigate the changes to keep us going.  Here is what you need to know, so PAY ATTENTION:

Please be aware that there is a major construction project beginning in downtown Redwood City this month. We recommend the County parking garage at Middlefield and Veteran's Parkway for free, easy parking. During the months of October, November, and December, a free luxury shuttle bus service will be offered from the County Garage to the Downtown core on Friday and Saturday evenings between 6pm-11pm.

In addition, there is valet parking on Friday and Saturday evenings. Valet parking is only $5 and the valet stand is located on Middlefield Rd. just outside of our neighbors Sakura Teppanyaki.

And, the City of Redwood City has partnered with Streetline to offer a parking finder app on smartphones. Read more about the Parker app and what it offers and download this free app to your smartphone

Get your DRAGON ON!  We love the Dragon in our midst...how about you????
