VIDEO: Students Channel Inner Comic Superheroes in Theatre Production
In conjunction with San Carlos Children's Theatre, the Roy Cloud PTA performed three shows on Friday and Saturday.
It’s not your typical Superman story of a dashing hero battling the evil villain in an archetypal storyline.
“Adventures of a Comic Book Artist” features an unlikely hero—a janitor—who brings his singing superheroes and dancing villains to life with a set of magic pens. Watch charismatic but egotistical Star Guy, speedy Triple Time, environmentally correct Blossom, and cranky little Wombat Woman all battle Dr. Shock Clock and his henchmen, the Minotos, but watch the video to see who saves the day!
PTA Mom Kathy Smith said theatre arts and programs like these are absolutely essential for well-rounded children.
