Take an Artful Walk in Redwood City this Saturday

The latest installment of the Redwood City Art Walk takes place Saturday night.

Summer has finally arrived in Redwood City, so now is the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy some of the culture in our fair city.

Nighttime is especially nice, with no sun bearing down on your unsuspecting skin, but still warmth to the air and light breezes helping to keep you cool.

This Saturday night, the latest installment in Redwood City's Art Walk may just be the perfect way to get out, enjoy the night air and get a little culture, all at the same time.

Eleven different locations throughout Redwood City will be hosting Art Walk-ers this Saturday night, July 9, from 6-9 p.m. More than 75 local artists will be displaying their creations, from jewelry to paintings and more, and fair trade crafts will be promoted as well, all in eco-friendly ways.

To get from one Art Walk location to the next, what could be more fun than riding an authentic trolley? The generous folks from the Asiya Shriners have donated the use of their trolley and drivers to help shuttle Art Walk-ers for this fun event.
