Relish in Redwood City Events This Week

From Movies on the Square to Dancing on the Square, there is something to do every night this week.

It’s going to be a beautiful week in Redwood City with temperatures in the 80s every day. So soak up the warm weather and enjoy all the events Redwood City has to offer.

 

Monday, June 20

Put on your dancing shoes because your toes will be tapping all night long at Jazz on Main from 6 to 8 p.m. The Anton Schwartz Quintet is led by jazz saxophonist Anton Schwartz would pursued his true passion after a career in Artificial Intelligence research at Harvard and Stanford. Now he draws in listeners in with the power, spirit and subtle complexity of music.

 

Tuesday, June 21

Hold yer horses for some trick roping, whip cracking, cowgirl comedy at ! Cowgirl Karen Quest will be providing some unique entertainment at 4 p.m.

Partake in a pop/dance party with “Night Fever” at this week’s Music in the Park from 6 to 8 p.m. in Stafford Park. The weather will be perfect and the entire community can groove to some classic tunes.

 

Wednesday, June 22

Time travel back to the 30s, 40s and 50s with swing dancing and lindy hop from 6 to 8 p.m. at . The live music by Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums has been called "Instant Crowd Favorites" by the San Francisco Blues Festival and "Consummate musicians and entertainers" by New York City's Lincoln Center.

Looking for a good action classic? Catch Jurassic Park (PG-13) at Movies on the Square at sundown (approximately 8:45 p.m.) in .

YES! THANKS YOLANDA! AND.. Music in the Park is on Wednesday, not Tuesday. PLUS there is the first Storytime in the Park for the little ones at 10am at Stafford Park this Wednesday!
