Redwood Symphony Rides Rough this Weekend

What happens when you get four bassoonists with attitude together in one place? Find out this weekend at Canada College's Main Theatre.

 

Bassoon quartet Infernal Fagotti will be featured in the Nov. 17 concert of the Redwood City at 8 p.m. in the Main Theatre of Canada College, 4200 Farm Hill Blvd., Redwood City.

The four bassoonists (Doug McCracken, Wendell Hanna, Mia Stormer, Mia Stormer and Jared Prolo), in full motorcycle regalia, will perform in Michael Daugherty’s concerto Hell’s Angels, under the direction of Redwood Symphony Conductor Eric Kujawsky. Gruber’s Charivari and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 (as “retouched” by Mahler).
