Annual Festive Fundraising Event at Historic Site in Woodside

Filoli welcomes everyone, especially families, to this historic site’s annual Autumn at Filoli Festival, on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Activities are planned for all ages including live music, docent-led nature hikes, the popular Happy Birds shows, autumnal art projects, puppet and magic shows, face painting, and the supervised Family Fun Land of outdoor games and activities for children.
The festival also includes fruit tasting of rare heirloom pears, apples and grapes from Filoli’s orchard. Docent-led tours of the historic orchard that contains more than 650 varieties of heirloom fruit will take place throughout the day.

Admission for Autumn at Filoli Festival is $20 for current members of Filoli; $25 for non-members; $5 for children between the ages of 5 and 17 years and free for children 4 years and younger. Advance purchase is strongly recommended as Filoli has a limited number of tickets available due to space constraints. Barbeque (or vegetarian) lunch is available, by advance purchase only, for $16; a child lunch is available for $9. Visitors are encouraged to car pool to the event. Parking is free.
