Friday, April 26

Peninsula Bike Party Earth Ride

7:30 pm; Woodside Hotels & Resorts, 1100 Alma St, Menlo Park

FREE; Peninsula Bike Party is a monthly night-time urban slow-paced social bike ride that meets on the Fourth Friday of every month at 7:30 pm. We'rebuilding community through cycling on the San Francisco Peninsula. Everyone's Welcome.

The next ride meets at the Menlo Park Caltrain Station on Friday, April 26 at 7:30 pm. The route is a flat 16 miles and will include three regroups. The first regroup is a Dance Party featuring DJ Marky Mark & the Funky Bike Party Bunch at Motostrano/Suburban Bikes at 926 Broadway in Redwood City, from 8:30 - 9:00 pm. Touch-A-Truck

10:00 am; Middlefield Rd & Veterans Blvd, Redwood City

Come to Open Gate Nursery School's Touch-a-Truck event at the Jury Parking lot at Middlefield and Veteran's Blvd in Redwood City. Kids get to climb on, steer and explore a fire truck, police car, utility truck, unique cars, construction vehicles and so much more! $5 per person or $20 per family, all proceeds benefit Open Gate Nursery School. BOOK SALE @ Woodside Library

10:00 am; Woodside Library, 3140 Woodside Rd, Woodside

FREE; Huge sale of everything from bestsellers to foreign language books, children's stories to cookbooks. All proceeds go towards the Library.

 

Latin Rhythms with The Tumbao Quintet

3:00 pm; 2955 Woodside Rd, Woodside

Enjoy live jazz on a Saturday afternoon. Latin Rhythms with The Tumbao Quintet includes Paul VornHagen on sax and flute, Carlos Caro on congas, Murray Low on keyboard, Julio Perez on timbales and Peter Barshay on bass. Program is generously funded by the Friends of the Woodside Library.

West Coast Farmers Market at Cañada College

9:00 am; Cañada College, 4200 Farm Hill Blvd, Redwood City

Come visit the beautiful farmers market up at Cañada College's parking lot 7. Come and get your fresh fruits veggies fish and beef, as well as some freshly baked bread. With one of the best views in the bay area this farmers market is a must see.
