Video: Chanukah Festival Celebrates Religious Freedom and Tolerance
Over 400 people gathered in Courthouse Square to rejoice in and learn about the Jewish holiday.
The second annual Chanukah Festival was another example of the religious diversity that lives in our community of Redwood City.
Rabbi Levi Potash wished a "Happy Chanukah" to his Jewish neighbors and non-Jewish neighbors, explaining that Chanukah was a celebration for all of humanity to recognize religious tolerance and freedome.
His wife, Ella Potash, explained that Chanukah was a message of light over darkness, an event that everyone could rally around.
