The Great Escape: Go For A Hike

This week, enjoy the outdoors with a hike.

After a couple of weeks of off and on rain, it's time to get outside and enjoy some fresh air.

Choose a day that is dry and enjoy the natural landscape that our region has to offer.

(Edmonds Road, Redwood City) boasts 17.5 acres of open land, with several hiking trails of different lengths and skill levels. If you have dogs, they are allowed to run free in a paved loop in the center of the park.

(Eaton Ave, San Carlos) and (3200 Brittan Ave, San Carlos) are also nice, and connect at Brittan Ave. Both parks offer natural, wooded scenery and views.

In Belmont, (Lyall Way and Lake Road, Belmont) is a great place to hike, offering wooded landscapes, canyon views, and a nice lake at the bottom. Several trails are available.

Finally, check out (Marsh Road, Menlo Park), which provides a large open space for hiking with views of the South Bay. The park boasts a main trail around the perimeter as well as several smaller trails throughout the space.

Hiking is a great way to get some exercise, enjoy nature and get a breath of fresh air!
