Photos: Central Student Catches Peguero Home Run Ball, Meets Players

Rylan Kelley said he knew it was a game-tying home run the minute the ball left Francisco Peguero's bat on Sunday.

Pictured here are best buds Rylan Kelley and Stone Savage sharing their stories of Sunday's amazing grab of a home run ball at AT&T Park.

Rylan is a fourth grader at Central Elementary School; Stone is in third grade.

San Francisco Giants outfielder Francisco Peguero knocked a game-tying shot right into the bleacher seats where Rylan was waiting with his glove.

After the catch, Rylan, Stone and Stone's mom, Jill Daniel had an opportunity to meet some of the players, and exchange the historic ball for an autographed bat (for Rylan) and ball (for Stone).

On Monday, the boys told Patch the story of their amazing experience at the Giants' last game of the season.
