10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Carry out your resolutions to exercise and learn more about the natural world! Start the New Year off on the “right foot” with a docent-led hike. Due to the popularity of this hike last year, we’ve recruited more docents to lead a variety of hikes, from 2.5 miles to 4.5 miles.

Where to meet
Walks start from the Bill and Jean Lane Education Center at Edgewood Park.

What to bring
Bring water, a hat, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and a snack if you wish. We don’t stop for lunch, but picnic tables are usually available after the walks in the Old Stage Day Camp area.
Restrooms
Restrooms and water are available only at the Education Center and in the Old Stage Day Camp.
Reservations
No reservations are needed unless you have a group of 10 or more. For group reservations, please email docent-coordinator@friendsofedgewood.org.
