Gossamer Cove Shocked by Profane Graffiti
Redwood Shores announces the annual Eggstravangza and Stanford Men's Rowing hosts its Invitational at Redwood Shores.
Gossamer Cove Shocked by Graffiti Incident
Racial slurs were found painted on the back of a house on April 12 in an otherwise peaceful Redwood Shores neighborhood. The resident, who didn't want his name printed, said he was in shock after his neighbors reported the incident to him the next day.
Police are still investigating the incident.
"Some people tend to want to take out their frustrations on others," the resident said. "The current economic climate with continuing job losses and the downturn in the housing market might be partially to blame for this type of complaint. My screens were slashed last year."
