Eat a Good Breakfast RWC, Thursday's a Busy Day

Just a friendly reminder of some holiday events taking place Thursday, Dec. 19 in Redwood City.




Redwood City Blood Drive

 1-6 p.m., Main Library (Community Room)

The City of Redwood City will host a blood drive this Thursday, Dec. 19 at the main library. Donors are asked to make an appointment by going to www.bloodheroes.com.  Click on "Donate Blood" & enter Sponsor Code: RWC.

Donors are also asked to bring proper identification (i.e. driver's license, CA identification card), and to be sure to eat a healthy meal beforehand.

Downtown Redwood City Retail Task Force Late Night Holiday Shopping Event

To entice shoppers downtown for late night Thursday shopping, many stores will stay open until 8:00 p.m. and will be offering special promotions for this late night shopping event.  

Participating stores include: 

Shops on Upper Broadway 
  • Pickled - women's wear 
  • Active Aggie - women's active wear  (open till 7:00)

Finally, a reminder that any "naughty" Redwood City residents with outstanding library fines is invited to deliver nonperishable food items to any Redwood City library (or to any of the San Mateo County Library's twelve branches) during regular business hours - and their Library fines will be erased! This special "Food for Fines" program continues through the month of December. Those "nice" Redwood City residents who do not have any Library fines are also encouraged to donate food!
