Donate a Gift to a Foster Child & Win a Kindle Fire HD

Sleep Train in Redwood City will give away a Kindle Fire HD tablet and a pair of cozy Tempur-Pedic slippers to one lucky person who donates a gift to a foster child this holiday season.

Many children enter foster care just before the holidays with only the clothes on their backs.

They aren’t guaranteed to wake up with a gift under the tree.

Whether it’s a new baby doll, a Lego set, art supplies, or even a gift card, these gifts can mean the world to a foster child.

This year, the Redwood City Sleep Train store at 2341 El Camino Real is collecting donations of new, unwrapped gifts for local foster children of all ages.

As if the warm feeling of helping a foster child in need isn't enough, Sleep Train is offering an extra reason for locals to consider donating this year. With its "Be a Secret Santa Photo Contest," if you snap a photo of yourself dropping off a new, unwrapped gift in one of Sleep Train's stores and upload it to the contest website, you'll be entered in a drawing to win a brand-new Kindle Fire HD tablet and a pair of cozy Tempur-Pedic slippers!

Gift donations and contest entries will be accepted through Dec. 16.
