'Music Mentor' Founder Featured on KPIX News

Emily and Alan Sarver, originators of the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District's Music Mentor program, have been honored with a Jefferson Award for their dedication to helping develop young musicians in the community. 

The couple, whose two daughters attended Belmont public schools and Carlmont High School, were recently interviewed by KPIX TV Channel 5, and the story has been featured several times KPIX (CBS - Channel 5) and KCBS 740 AM and 106.9 FM. KPIX recently interviewed the couple at their home and filmed the Music Mentor session at Cipriani.
