Woodside Grad Ready for Some Football

Woodside High grad Jason Simpson begins his senior year with the San Jose State football team on Thursday night, when the Spartans host Sacramento State at 7 p.m.

Simpson, the 2008 Offensive Player of the Year while playing for the Wildcats, has played in 25 games over the past three years at San Jose State.

The Spartans have a seven-game winning streak intact entering the season after finishing 2012 with an 11-2 record, including a win in the Military Bowl.
