FREE Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) session this Sunday, May 18th in the Downtown Redwood City Library Children's Area

For parents of 8-12 year-olds: This Sunday, May 18th, the Redwood City Youth Literacy Council is putting on a free STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) class from 2:00 - 3:00 in the Children's area (1044 Middlefield Rd. Redwood City Library). Sunday's theme is "How Things Work" and there will be hands-on experiments teaching about levers, pulleys, and the strength of various construction designs. It will be a lot of fun and run by enthusiastic teens to keep your child interested. If you have an older child who wants to help teach, just show up at 1:30 and they can join in. Take advantage of these FREE programs at the library to encourage your child's interest in STEM.
