Books...Pass It On! Community Book Drive in October

Your gently used or new children’s books are needed! A community book drive is occurring during the first two weeks of October. The books collected will be used in the Redwood City Public Library’s literacy programs. Through programs and outreach in the community, we are trying to put a book in every home. Together, we can help ALL kids succeed in school and in life – simply by giving them books! Let’s each take some time to clear our shelves of books you have outgrown, so that we may give those books a second life with a child who needs them. We need books for all ages, especially board books and picture books for the youngest readers. Look for the book collection bins in schools and community donation locations during the first two weeks of October and please help us fill them! See www.redwoodcitybookdrive.blogspot.com for a full list of donation sites.
